1. Crew Manager in Tallinn office

The role you will be responsible for the recruitment, engagement and operational management of the Deck and Engine crew.

Besides this, the HR / Crewing Manager has a vital role in supporting the overall business. The HR / Crewing Manager will be part of Management Team in a dynamic and evolving organization.

 The crewing manager will take responsibility for the following :

  •  Produce and review data to support continuous development and improvement of HR processes and projects
  •  Conduct checks for compliance, ethics policies and procedures in accordance with the SM
  •  Ensure safe manning of vessels
  •  Management of annual crew planning including budgeting
  •  Through the Crew Department to coordinate & manage the crew certification, crew performance appraisal, and training.
  •  Ensure that the crewing department is informed as regards all relevant national and international regulations on crewing, including flag rules, union and ILO agreements.
  •  Monitor the activities related to learning and development to ensure unity and quality
  •  Coordinate Welfare policies and procedures to maximize employee well being

Preferable skills/experience are following :

  •  A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline i.e. HR/Ship Management/Business Management
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in ship management, ideally crew management.
  • An excellent knowledge of international manning rules and regulations

2. Crew Coordinator in Tallinn office

As Crew Coordinator your primary function is to ensure effective day to day crew recruitment and operation based on quality for each individual vessel and seafarer. The crewing coordinator will take responsibility for the following :

  • Selection for officers and rating positions
  •  Assist the Crew Manager to monitor the seafarer recruitment processes
  •  Obtain any flag state certification required
  •  Visa and documentation handling
  •  Receipt, review the Crew Manager’s support requests.

Preferable skills/experience are following :

  • Minimum Diploma Holder in any discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Marine Industry
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian and Estonian
  • Proactive, take initiative and well organized
  • Abilities to multi-task and work independently
